This winter has brought record-high temperatures and only scattered flurries across southern New England, but snow finally hit this shoreline town on Saturday.
It didn't come from the sky.
Mary and Jim Walker, of Loveland, presented about 30 snowballs to the Hansen family of Milford on the city green, after family patriarch Chris Hansen bought them from the Walkers on eBay for $200.
