If being diagnosed with leukemia wasn't bad enough, Patrick Pedraja's hair started falling out from the chemotherapy treatments."That was a big thing," said Patrick, who's 11 and likes to be called Pat. "I loved my hair.
"But his newly expansive forehead gave him a bright idea. If he could get companies to pay to advertise on his noggin, he could use the money for a good cause, like going around the country to recruit bone marrow donors to help others with leukemia.So Pat and his mom, Claudine Andrews, who live in Palm Harbor near Tampa, went to the world's pop culture marketplace - eBay - and opened an online auction.
For a minimum bid of $5,000, Pat offered to wear a temporary tattoo on his forehead for a month touting the winning bidder's goods or services.

Washington, Jan 20: If you yearn for lips like Jessica Simpson then just head over to eBay, for that’s where the singer/actress’ line of cosmetics is being auctioned.
The box of Simpson’s “Dessert Treat” line of cosmetics that has found its way to the online auction house has a total of 100 Creamsicle Lip Candy lipsticks.
And, the seller swears will make the wearers’ lips tingle and plump, reports TMZ.com.
Simpson launched the line of lipsticks in November 2005. They were an addition to her already popular Dessert Beauty line, sold at Sephora and online retailers, and the more affordable offshoot Dessert Treats, sold at drugstores.
The box of creamsicle lipsticks has so far gotten bids for a total of 47 dollars. They have been up for auction for five days so far.

It’s official: Google and eBay are at war over online payments. This week, Mountain View, California-based Google upped the ante by offering a link on its homepage to its online payment service, Google Checkout, which included a special offer for a $10 rebate on merchandise.
This is just one of many such promotions, said Benjamin Ling, product lead for Google Checkout, who said that Google is “very happy” with the progress it has gained in the marketplace.
