Child gets doll, pot stash for Christmas

A little North Carolina girl unwrapped a Bratz doll on Christmas morning and found three pounds of pot tucked under the doll's head.
Her mother called police.
WSOC-TV Charlotte reported Saturday that Rowan County detectives were investigating the source of the drugs. The doll was purchased on eBay by her mother, who said that the doll looked like it was still in factory packaging when it arrived so she wrapped it up and placed it under the tree without inspecting it.
Capt. John Sifford of the Rowan County Sheriff's Dept., said that drugs are frequently sent through the mail and that this particular doll was "obviously meant for someone else."
He placed the value of the drugs at more than $7,000.
