A little over a year ago I pitched the Vancouver 24 Hours editor on the idea of a column concerning the latest auction oddities listed on Ebay. If you’re reading this now, he said yes.
Let me tell you about another concept I pitched a few months later but, first, here’s a little history.
My dad was a union leader and so when he was home, the TV was always on some channel talking politics. Thanks to being denied sports, cartoons and entertainment, I learned early on to despise politics. The other half of the time he would be gone, attending union meetings all over the province, so I started to despise unions, too.
