said Wednesday it's doubling to $2,000 the amount it guarantees will be refunded for items not delivered or are damaged upon delivery.
Items subject to the new gurantees must be purchased using eBay's PayPal online transaction service, the company said.
The move is part of eBay's stepped-up efforts to address concerns about fraudulent sellers, especially in China where the company also recently imposed restrictions on selling.
